Share Fuel Rewards Savings

You know how it is when you make a new recipe that turns out perfectly? Your family loves it, and it’s special enough to serve to guests. One of your first thoughts is bound to be, “I need to share this.” It’s a normal reaction. When we find something good, we want to pass along our good fortune.

Finding a great way to save money is often something we want to share too. Well, now, you can share the FRN program – easily – with as many friends or relatives as you want. You love watching the price roll back at the pump when you fill up. Now it’s time to spread the joy!

The new Refer-a-friend offer is a simple way to share the FRN program. Here’s the really good news! When your friends start saving, you’ll save too! You will earn 5¢/gal for every new FRN Member you refer once they earn a reward or use their card at a participating Shell station. There is no limit to how many times you can collect this reward. The more people you refer, the more nickels you can earn!

Here’s how it works:
1. Log into your FRN Account at fuelrewards.com
2. Click on the “account profile” link in the upper right corner of our site, and open the ACCOUNT INFORMATION section to find your personal Refer-a-friend link
3. Copy the link and paste into an email or social post and send to your list of friends and family members

That’s it. So simple. And if you forget someone the first time, go back and copy your link and send again. Like a good recipe, this money-saving tip is one your friends will appreciate, and you’ll never tire of using or sharing.

Oh, and if you’re interested in a good recipe that your family will love and your friends will appreciate, here’s one that one of our friends shared with us. Like the Refer-a-friend program, it’s easy and good!

Wacky Cake (don’t let the name fool you; this cake is seriously delicious!)

Mix together:
3½ cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt

Add to dry ingredients:
2/3 cup cooking oil
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups cold tap water
NOTE: This recipe has no eggs

Stir (by hand) together until smooth. Pour into ungreased 9×13” pan. Bake at 375º for 30-35 minutes. Check doneness with toothpick. Cool. Frost. Enjoy. Share.
