The Fuel Rewards Network™ at the MetroPCS Dallas Marathon

As part of their Dallas launch efforts, the Fuel Rewards Network™ program participated as an Official Sponsor of the MetroPCS Dallas Marathon on Sunday, December 9th.  When runners visited the Health and Fitness Expo to pick up their race packets before the race, each received a Fuel Rewards Network™ Card pre-loaded with a 5/gal reward. After a great race, the FRN™ program hopes this helps to keep fueling runners’ cars!

In addition to participating as an Official Sponsor, Dallas-based Excentus (provider of the FRN™ program) participated in the SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge portion of the event.  Four corporate relay teams, consisting of 5 persons who each run 4-6.5 miles, completed the full marathon relay (26.2 miles total).  The course began and ended in Downtown Dallas, highlighting the best areas of the city.

Winning relay teams in a variety of categories shared the $30,000 in prize money, which is given directly to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in the names of their respective corporations at a reception at the SMU Cox School of Business in early 2013.

The Excentus relay teams sported FRN™ branded running shirts with the tagline ‘Fueling Lucky?’  Runners who participated were:
